Consultant Technology (100%)
We are looking for a motivated and service-oriented professional to strengthen our IT Operations team. In this key role, you will contribute to the stability, support, and continuous improvement of restaurant technologies across Switzerland. Acting as a bridge between restaurant operations, support partners, and internal IT teams, you will help ensure reliable technology services in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex incidents and escalations through to resolution, ensuring minimal business impact.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Support, train, and guide external service providers and support partners.
- Define and maintain knowledge documentation, operational procedures, and certification frameworks for support partners.
- Drive continuous improvements in support processes and self-service capabilities.
- Monitor service performance and identify opportunities for operational excellence.
- Coordinate the resolution of major incidents affecting restaurant operations.
- Provide Level 3 support for restaurant technologies, with a strong focus on POS systems and back-office applications.
- Collaborate closely with restaurant operations, vendors, and internal IT teams.
- Translate technical topics into clear and actionable communication for non-technical stakeholders.
What You Need to Be Successful
- Around 5 years of experience in IT Operations, IT Support, or a similar role.
- Solid general IT knowledge and strong troubleshooting capabilities.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand both strategic and operational perspectives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic business environment.
- Strong customer-service mindset and solution-oriented approach.
- High motivation to learn, develop, and expand technical expertise.
- Languages: Fluent English and French or German. Italian is considered an asset.
Technical Skills
Good understanding of:
- Windows environments and end-user devices.
- Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
- Active Directory fundamentals.
- IT Service Management concepts (Incident, Problem and Escalation Management).
- PowerShell and basic system administration tasks.
- Security fundamentals and endpoint protection.
Nice to have:
- Experience in restaurant operations, retail, hospitality, or franchised environments.
- Experience supporting POS platforms or business-critical applications.
- Experience working with external support organizations and service providers.
- Knowledge of ITIL principles and DevOps methodologies.
